There’s a new freelance gig market place called Crypico that allows freelancers to post gigs and accept payment in any cryptocurrency. Much like traditional gig markets like Fiverr and UpWork, users can hire freelancers for one time gigs, or offer their services in exchange for crypto.
The platform is completely free to use and has integrated crypto wallets for over 10 of the top cryptocurrencies. There is a large range of gig categories including administrative, community & social media, data input & analysis, design, ICO services, market, music & audio, publishing, SEO services, tech support, translation, video production, web development, whitepaper services, or other for non listed gigs.
Users can easily advertise their services, how much they charge, and what cryptocurrency they accept for the gig they’re offering. The platform also offers a messaging system so communication between freelancers and those seeking services is available and easy to use.
Those looking to hire can also post requests on what kind of services they are looking for.
All though cryptocurrencies are still in it’s infant stage, today’s fiat economy can make it difficult for people to invest in the coins that they are interested and see a future in. The online gig economy has also been booming in the past few years as many turn to the internet to find ways to make money. Crypico’s goal is to boost mainstream crypto adoption by using their platform to put cryptocurrency in the hands of thousands.
Crypico Co-Founder Ty Smith said in a statement, “The ability to earn cryptocurrency is vital to the success of its adoption. I hope Crypico can add value to the cryptocurrency community in the form of increased liquidity and adoption.”
“Our vision is for a more globalized and better-connected economy where it’s easier for all parties to settle up their contracts with each other. Crypico will change the way freelancers and other service providers from around the world get paid.” – Crypico Co-Founder Ryan Mahaffey.
