During the “If Only” Texas Hold’Em charity poker tournament held this past weekend in Inglewood, California, tech entrepreneur, investor, and blockchain enthusiast Matthew Roszak ran into reality superstar Kim Kardashian and gave her her first Bitcoin. Roszak posted a photo on his Twitter with Kardashian as he holds up a hardware wallet containing the cryptocurrency.

This surely isn’t Kim’s first run in with Bitcoin as husband, Kanye West, has mentioned Bitcoin several times in various interviews. West stated he supports crypto for it’s apolitical and neutral attributes and has Tweeted support for decentralization.
Matthew Roszak has been a long-time enthusiast and supporter for blockchain technology. He has invested in some of the first ICOs back in 2013 as well as several tech companies and projects. Roszak can be seen giving his, “The Tokenization of Things” Ted Talk as he discusses the transition of the old model of money and power to a new era of technology, cryptocurrencies, and tokenized assets on the blockchain.
